A Fort Collins man whose cookstove sparked the Hewlett Fire has been issued a citation by federal authorities. According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Colorado, Weber was camping on the Hewlett Gulch Trail and used an alcohol-fueled stove, which started the fire on May 14.

University of Colorado research associate Noah Podolefsky spent a year and $10,000 converting a 1993 GSX-R Suzuki motorcycle into an electric bike and Thursday he got the chance to show off his hard work. Podolefsky's motorcycle sat between a yellow Tesla Roadster and an array of electric-assist bicycles at Boulder's Electric Car Expo in the parking lot next to CU's Wolf Law building.
