Friday Afternoon Club (FAC)
Rockin’
The Gardens FREE summer concert
series, welcomes Hazel Miller
and her band to the stage this
Friday from 5:30 - 9:30 pm.
Whether she is singing blues,
jazz, pop or gospel, Hazel's
voice charges the songs with a
primal dose of genuine soul. A
regular performer on the ETown
Radio Show, which aired on NPR,
and opener for Big Head Todd’s
national tours, Hazel has also
sung with or opened for such
popular performers as Julian
Lennon, Peter, Paul and Mary,
Herbie Hancock, Lou Rawls,
Rickie Lee Jones and James
Taylor. Hazel and her band are
masters at funk, R&B and jazz
and were chosen by the Westword
Readers’ Poll as the "Best
Blues/R&B" band for three
consecutive years.

The Gardens FREE summer concert
series, welcomes Six Foot Joe & The
Red Hot Rhinos to the stage this
Friday from 5:30 - 9:30 pm. Six Foot
Joe & The Red Hot Rhinos are a fun
blues-rocking horn band playing
originals and popular cover material
that range from John Lee Hooker and
Stevie Ray Vaughan to the Blues
Brothers.
FAC Rockin’ The
Gardens
also features a delicious menu of
appetizers and entrees. This week’s
specials include a grilled steak
sandwich served on a toasted
baguette with sautéed onions and
green peppers and a side of crispy
fries for just $12.00, London Porter
beer battered white fish served on a
bed of steak fries with zesty tartar
sauce for $13.00 or a trio of
Kendall Jackson’s Grand Reserve
wines – Chardonnay, Merlot and
Cabernet Sauvignon – paired with
baked brie for $14.00.

SYNOPSIS:
Fallen angel Sammael has claimed the
midworld in the name of darkness. With the help of his menacing,
