NCAR Mesa
Lab

A working research
laboratory, features interactive exhibits
that include the center’s supercomputers;
a telescopic camera; A hands-on demonstrations
of lightning, tornadoes, and fluid dynamics;
two-story mural that depicts the atmosphere;
A climate gallery; NCAR’s unique architecture
(designed by famed I.M Pei); and the NCAR
mesa, which features the wheelchair-accessible
Walter Orr Roberts Nature Trail with interpretative
signs. There is also a science store and
a rotating art gallery.
